Primarily designed for RF and DC grounding that can be produced with discrete wires or Kauffman's exclusive internal wire braiding process. From either type, our certified stamping process allows terminals to be custom designed and fabricated internally.
Manufactured in varying gauges and lengths and are coupled with a wide range of terminal/tinning options for wire end treatments. Whether short run or high volume, Kauffman Engineering has the work cell to meet your needs.
These components can be designed with combinations of wire, plastic components, switches, circuit boards, housings, relays, etc.
All Kauffman Engineering wires are UL® approved. We offer most industry wide used sizes; 0 AWG to 22AWG wires, and also have the capability of wire extrusion. Our extensive set of solid wire color variety includes striped color combinations. We provide standard UL® style MTW and CSA approved TEW and AWM rated wire insulation, as well as higher temperature UL® style GXL (X-link) insulation as part of our flexibility.
Automated cutting, terminating and printing technology allowing us to lead the industry in efficiency, quality, and consistency in specification such as lengths and crimp integrity.
Bare copper stranding from 28 to 34 gauge can be woven in multiple styles and lengths to create the strap to best fit your application.
Kauffman has the capability to design, fabricate tooling and stamp inserts in several common materials. Being vertically integrated improves speed to market and flexibility in design.
We offer wide a range of switch/system assembly options that combine wires with plastic components, switches, printed circuit boards, housings, etc.
Finished harnesses and/or assemblies are tested using original mate connectors whenever possible. Every test is performed using the most up-to-date software scanning technology designed specifically for that part.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY/ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING SERVICES (EMS)
Our EMS personnel follow strict ESD procedures and are certified to IPC standards for both leaded and RoHS (Lead-Free) work cells. Automated, Through-hole, BGA and Surface-mount assembly, combined with no-clean soldering techniques allows us to serve many industries. Diagnostic and/or functional testing along with design for manufacturing assistance completes the spectrum of capabilities to best meet your needs.
