Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst is responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing operational data from ERP systems and Power BI to support reporting, dashboard development, and informed decision-making across the supply chain team. This role requires strong technical skills in Power Query and Excel, along with the ability to work efficiently with large datasets. While prior supply chain experience is helpful, it is not required; success in this role depends primarily on strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support sourcing and supply chain decisions
- Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies across multiple sources
- Track key metrics related to purchasing, supplier performance, and operational trends
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making
- Collaborate with sourcing, supply chain, operations, and finance teams on reporting needs
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve data processes
Required Qualifications: Experience/ knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1 – 3 years of experience working with data analysis, reporting, or operations support.
- Strong Excel skills, including working with large datasets, formulas, and pivot tables
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, and ERP systems
- Ability to extract, clean, validate, and analyze data accurately
- Experience creating reports and dashboards to support business decisions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate data insights clearly to cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting supply chain, sourcing, or procurement functions (preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL or database query writing (preferred)
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Work Environment:
- Independent remote work from home
- Travel within US and Mexico (< 25%)
- Ideal region is CST or EST time zones
- Located within 60 miles of a regional airport
